Aisha Tyler: I have a very guy-friendly sense of humor
If you’ve ever spent any quality time listening to Aisha Tyler’s stand-up comedy, you already know that she does a stellar job of balancing between “being a girl” and relating to dudes. One of the reasons for that? As she told Washington DC’s Fox affiliate this morning: “My parents separated when I was young and I was raised by a single dad.” Makes perfect sense.
If you’re in the DC area this weekend, might we suggest you get your ass to one of her shows at the Improv so you can experience this well-rounded comedic force in person. Keep in mind, hardcore fans: if you’ve seen her latest DVD, there will no repeated material. Tyler has a brand new hour of funny. She’s performing tonight through Sunday.
